Woman injured in Bellevue pedestrian accident

A female pedestrian, age 60, was injured on Wednesday morning when she was struck by a suspected drunken driver in Bellevue.

Seattle’s KOMO news reports that the Bellevue pedestrian accident occurred in the 15200 block of NE 28th Street around 7:20am.

The injured woman was taken to Overlake Hospital where her condition is unknown.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the woman was described as a 28-year-old Bellevue man. He was arrested and faces charges of DUI and vehicular assault.
