Samantha Effingham, age 17 of Woodland, was killed when the Toyota Corolla she was riding in failed to stop at a flashing stop light and was t-boned by a pickup truck driven by a 23-year-old Battle Ground man.

The side impact accident occurred at Highway 502 and NE 29th Avenue in Battle Ground around 2:40pm.

The driver of the Toyota was identified as Ryan L. Matison, age 20, of Battle Ground.
