Pedestrians injured when King County Metro Bus tire explodes

The Seattle Fire Department has transported two boys, a girl and a “mom” to Haborview Medical Center in Seattle after a tire on a King Co. Metro bus exploded and the four were hit by flying debris according to the department’s Twitter Feed.

The tire blowout occurred at 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street on a Bus Route 7 bus.

According to the SFD, all the injuries appeared to be minor and that the visit to Harborview was a precaution.
