2 children, 1 adult suffer life threatening injuries in Seattle car accident

A 3-car accident in Seattle’s Central District left two children and one adult with life-threatening injuries and one adult with serious injuries. All four people were injured when the sedan they were riding in collided with two vans in an “uncontrolled intersection” at 20th and Main street reports The Seattle Times. All four injured were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The force of the collision caused a 3-year-old child to be thrown from the vehicle still strapped into its child safety seat. Police investigators will have to determine whether the child safety seat had been installed incorrectly or if some defect caused it to come loose.
