A 4-year-old girl has died after she and her mother were involved in a single car accident on Highway 101 near Shelton around 6pm on Wednesday night.
According to a report by KOMO News of Seattle, the pair were headed north when the mother lost control of her vehicle while changing lanes and went off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The little girl was airlifted to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The girl’s mother was airlifted to Tacoma Genera Hospital with serious injuries.
