Car accident victim files lawsuit against former King County Assessor, Scott Noble

Lyndsey Jones has filed an injury accident lawsuit against former King County Assessor Scott Noble seeking unspecified compensation for damages she received after Noble, who was drunk at the time, ran into the car she was riding in reports The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Jones was a passenger in a car going north on Interstate 5 in Federal Way when Noble, whose blood alcohol limit was 0.22% at the time, made a U-turn causing the car accident.

Jones is asking for compensation for medical rehabilitation costs, counseling and for emotional and physical suffering. No trial has yet been set.

Noble pleaded guilty to “vehicular assault” King County Superior court in the drunk driving case. He resigned his the Assessor position and was sentenced to eight months in jail with work release.
