Driver critically injured in Bellevue Way car accident

A man was critically injured in a Bellevue car accident on Bellevue Way near the entrance to the I-90 reports the Bellevue Reporter.

According to the report, the injured man attempted to make a U-turn at the Sweyolocken boat ramp when his BMW was hit by a Mitsubishi truck.

The Bellevue Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to extract the man from the BMW. His injuries were serious and he was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was not injured in the car accident.
