The HeraldNet.com reports that six people were injured in a car accident after the SUV they were riding in swerved and rolled over into a ditch to avoid a load of logs that a logging truck had dropped. All six were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The accident occurred just east of Marysville on Getchell Road near the 99th Avenue NE intersection said Washington State Trooper, Keith Leary. The log truck appeared to break apart, spilling its load. This is the second logging truck accident in the past week in Snohomish County. In that accident, a truck spilled its logs on Highway 530 but no one was injured.
