A 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Matthew Johnson, 19, of Kent collided with a 1990 Mazda RX7 driven by a 23-year-old man from University Place. Johnson’s Explorer rolled; Johnson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially thrown from the vehicle. He died of his injuries a couple of hours later at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
