King5.com reports that a multi-car accident on the corner of South 212th Street and 84th Avenue South in Kent has injured drivers of two vehicles. The accident occurred just about 5pm at the 4 way intersection. Police say that the traffic lights were not working at the time.
Although we do not know the sequence of the events in the crash, a one-ton pickup landed on top of two passenger cars and these three vehicles were up against a semi-truck in the intersection.
The drivers of the passenger cars both suffered injuries and at least one was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment; The truck drivers were not injured in the accident.
Kent police reminds drivers that if the lights are out at a four way intersection that it should be treated as a 4-way Stop.
