The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of a motor vehicle accident on state Route 8 at Old Olympic highway which injured a 25-year-old Oregon woman, Carmen M. Winkle.
According to The Olympian,Winkle was driving west when her Jeep collided with the trailer of a westbound semi truck driven by Paul K. Yeboah, 48, of Seattle. The motor vehicle accident occurred around 7:57am.
Winkle suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital. An infant riding in the back seat was not injured. Yeboah was not injured either.
