A 56-year-old Concrete man was killed in a 3-vehicle accident around 5:30pm on Friday night when a pickup truck driven by a 28-year-old Bellingham man crossed the center-line and ran into his minivan after first sideswiping a Nissan Pathfinder on Highway 20, east of Sedro-Woolley.
According a report by KOMO News, two other people were injured in the accident including the pickup truck driver and the Concrete man’s passenger. The pickup driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of critical injuries. The minivan’s passenger was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.
The Washington State Patrol is conducting an investigation of the motor vehicle accident and it is currently not know whether alcohol or drugs or distracted driving were factors.
