Sultan woman killed in hit-and-run pedestrian accident

The Everett Herald Net reports that a Sultan woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident around 8:30pm on Friday evening. Police have not identified the woman that was killed but said she was a long time Sultan resident, according to the report.

The pedestrian accident occurred on the 311 Avenue SE Bridge, just south of U.S. 2.

Witnesses described the vehicle that killed the woman as nondescript but police said that the vehicle would have fresh damage on the front and maybe also on the right side. The Snohomish Sheriff’s department asks anyone with information about the accident to call detective Joe Goffin at 425-388-5436.
