Two Washington State Patrol troopers seriously injured in motorcycle accident near Alder

Two Washington State Patrol troopers were injured — one critically — in a motorcycle accident on State Route 7 near Alder which is approximately 45 miles south-west of Olympia.

According to Tacoma’s The News Tribune, Trooper Tony Brock, 37, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Trooper Willie Boxhorn, 40, was taken to the same hospital by ambulance.

The State Patrol attribute the accident’s fault to a 72-year-old-woman who pulled out in front of the trooper on Alder Cutoff Road East at state Route 7. The woman was injured in the accident as well. The article said she may be cited for failure to yield.
